Birthday

Last week I celebrated my birthday. For the first time in a long time, we had a day together as a family. This is rare due to work, school and sport commitments these days. So it did feel very special. We headed over the bridge to the Sydney Fish Market, one of my favourite places. I love the hustle and bustle and colour.  We collected a plethora of seafood, in preparation for a birthday seafood feast that evening. Stopped for a coffee too, of course.

Once home, I was sent out to have a long coffee with a friend for a few hours, while top secret goings on went on in the kitchen.

I came home to a restaurant quality seafood extravaganza, followed by cake designed by Miss O.
