Another WIP.
This is the blanket for my son,
ordered to match his Miami Dolphins room theme.
Although it is now really steaming along,
I keep checking he is still a top fan.
It is going to be enormous.
I got a bit carried away with the foundation row,
and overcompensated for the chevron pattern.
Oh well it will be lovely and snugly.
Not sure that it will actually be ready for
the end of winter.

What a gorgeous blanket Carmel. It's definitely coming along very well, and I'd like to snuggle up under it myself.
I'm quite partial to white and blue, so like your colour scheme alot.
Cold here in Brissy now, so nice to look at such pretty warming pictures. YES Brisbane does get cold!
Gorgeous work Carmel. It is good to get spurred on a bit when you can see it all coming together. I can understand that notion - totally.
Looks fabulous.

Very impressive - all that detail and the time it must have taken you ...
Wow, it's really, really beautiful!!!!! Sometimes it's hard to be motivated with a big project, but when you start to put it together, you realise how beautiful it is beginning to look and want to finish it quickly!!!!!!
Have a lovely day!!!!

I reckon, when it comes to blankets, The bigger the better! (aprt from when you are the person making it, ) But as a gift defitnitly!
lovely colours
The colors are perfect. :) I've not tried the chevron stitch -- must give it a go one of these days. Best wishes, Tammy

Loving those colours - good match!
those are great colors!
That team certainly uses a nice colour combination. It'll be a lovely blanket.
Wow Carmel. That's an awesome job. Love the colour combo... Love your 'new look' too. I've just been working on mine. It's hard isn't it as you get so used to the other look. Have a great weekend. Pxxx
Those colours look great, big blankets are the best!
I was working on two that were supposed to be single bed size, think they may end up as lap blankets. I'm so slow.
Fantastic colours. I love your inspiration. I'm sure he'll love it!
Beautiful colors and it looks so warm and snuggable :) I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
- the runaway
The colours and the pattern look great and perfect for snuggling under. I hope you get to finish it by the end of winter, I'm in the process of a ripple blanket too but fear it won't be finished lots of other projects seem to get in the way somehow. xo
