I got a brand new pair of rollerskates ...
(Well not me, The Fairy)
The birthday money from relatives has been spent.
Couldn't wait for Father Christmas.
I rather fancy a pair myself.
I always wanted some as a child.
We shared a 3rd hand bike between 3 of us,
so skates were never going to happen.
The Fairy was practicing around the house for an evening.
The next day we had a skate to the park.
She made it all the way back too.
Lots of fun.
We are off to see Mary Poppins tomorrow.

We gave her tickets for her birthday.
We are both as excited as each other.
She picked out her outfit before going to bed last night.
We will have lunch in the city
and a mooch around Zara beforehand.

Hope Mary Poppins is fun, we have tickets for January and I'm really looking forward to it.
This weekend I'm hoping to slow down. We have friends for morning tea on Saturday and my girl is going to a party - a rollerskating one would you believe.

Hope you love Mary Poppins. I took my 7 year old on the 1st of October as a belated birthday present and we had a quick whip around GAP first! Such a fantastic production.

I hope you loved the show. I'm so jealous - I'd love to take Miss 4 to see it. Loving the rollerskates too!! I always wanted some when I was little ... and I was given a pair of lovely white ones this year and I'm 40! Broken arm - here I come...
