My Creative Space

... literally.
This is where I was at 8.00am this morning.
Me, my crochet hook and a hexagon or two.
Waiting for the Fairy while she had her piano lesson.
Which, by the way, are going extremely well
(3 so far).
She is counting the days to the Christmas recital,
as she is bell No Five in Jingle Bells.

I had a better picture, but am having trouble uploading at the moment.
This is one that I played around with on Piknick
(does that count as creative ?)
and it's the only one that will upload.

A quiet one today.
Let us pause a moment for the mining families
in New Zealand.

Hop over to here for some beautiful spaces.

What a beautiful spot to rest with the hook!

Such a terrible tragedy in NZ, my heart goes out to all the families of those boys that have lost their lives...so, so sad :(

What a beautiful spot to sit and hook. Glad to hear your daughter is enjoying her piano lessons so much.

It's such a horrible tragedy, I feel so very sad for all of those families.

The mining accident was a terrible tragedy and coming on the heels of the miners in South America getting out alive and well it must be double hard for the families and friends.

It looks very peaceful, and a bit fresh, just as well you had your woolly hooking to keep you warm!

Has been so sad for all these poor families to loose their sons, fathers and brothers. My heart goes out to them.

Joining you in that quiet moment, wishing for the right words to say about the miners. Such a tragic time for the families.

I tried to leave a comment before, but google ate it. Short & sweet, you make me want to go find my crochet needles.

Hi Carmel
I couldn't find an email so thought I'd come back here and tell you where the MOMA shop is 'cos it's so wonderful. The one on the Gold Coast is at the Marina Mirage at Main Beach, there is also one at the Queen Victoria Bldg in Sydney and at the Sydney Airport, Domestic Terminal and wait for it...Melbourne, at Melbourne Central, 211 Latrobe Street. How's that? I could have bought almost everything in the shop the day I went!

Hello Carmel!

Isn't that just 'THE' best creative space ever! I love that...it is way to cold to even think of crocheting outside here now....but I do love those lazy days of summer in the back yard under the shade tree...it is so easy to pass the time! and oh so peaceful!

ciao bella!
