How quickly did Thursday come around again?!
This week I decided to learn something I have wanted to learn how to do for a long time. Something that has just been sitting at the back of mind in the "I'd like to do that" box. Having the wonderful tools of Google and You Tube at my disposal, I found a tutorial on how to make these little crochet flowers.
This one was really easy to follow.
I am a bit obsessed now and the house is covered in five petal crocheted flowers.
I'm off to Kootoyoo to see who else is joining in today.

They look so cute Carmel. I'm really keen on re-learning crochet too. I want to do a peggy square blanket. Just having trouble finding wool in nice colours. Why are most of them so garish? (Not yours of course. They're lovely colours!)
Great work, they look fab! How empowering is it to learn a new skill! I was looking back through my blog archives this morning to see what I was up to at this time last year and I was making the same little flowers. Have funembelishing things.
Thanks for all your lovely comments. It's very encouraging. Catherine, I think these particular flowers will be donated to my daughter's craft box. But I have been working with another wool to decorate the (slowly)developing knitted patch blanket I'm working on.

i learned crochet from a book, from scratch, two years ago.
